About The Position
Happy People Pizza, a Domino’s Pizza franchise with 56 stores across the United States, is hiring an Assistant Manager with ambition to advance into a General Manager role. The company offers a paid training program; prior pizza experience is not required. The position offers opportunities to build management and customer-service experience and to grow within the company. The role also involves supporting the community, including raising funds for local charitable donations, helping feed people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Employees may also be required to drive for business purposes, including making deliveries, and must meet the stated driving-history and driving-record standards to do so.
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must have at least one year of management experience.
- Must be available to work either Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend.
- For business driving, an 18-year-old must have at least two years of driving history immediately preceding the MVR evaluation; a 19-year-old must have at least one year. A learner’s permit period documented by a government authority may count toward driving history, but an officially stated license is required.
- For business driving, must have no more than two driving-related violations in the two years immediately preceding the MVR, no more than three in the three years immediately preceding it, and no more than one at-fault accident in the preceding three years.
- For business driving, must not have disqualifying violations including leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, violations involving drugs or alcohol, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
Responsibilities
- Support restaurant operations as an Assistant Manager.
- Provide customer service and develop management experience.
- Participate in fundraising for local charitable donations, feeding people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
- Meet the company's driving-history and driving-record requirements when operating a vehicle for business purposes, including making deliveries.
