About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for the site’s facility and operations. The role uses a disciplined, results-focused approach to meet and exceed volume, revenue, and profitability goals. Assistant Managers lead by example alongside the team and assist with leading 10–15 employees while promoting teamwork and a fun culture. The position offers professional development and a potential career path into higher-level management at Tidal Wave Auto Spa.

The work combines administrative and hands-on operational duties in an outdoor, fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager helps deliver friendly, high-quality guest service; trains and develops employees; performs limited administrative work and quick equipment checks; and maintains the facility, landscaping, equipment rooms, and related areas. The role may require work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, and occasional driving for company business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Comfort with regular exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving standards when driving for company business.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check as required by state guidelines.
