About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for a Tidal Wave Auto Spa site’s facility and operations. This hands-on leadership role supports the site team and helps achieve volume, revenue, and profitability goals. The Assistant Manager works alongside employees, helps deliver quality and friendly guest service, and contributes to employee development and facility upkeep. The role combines administrative and operational duties in an outdoor, fast-paced environment and offers opportunities for professional development and advancement into higher-level management positions. The position is based in Pickens, South Carolina, and pays $18.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn weekly commission. The schedule is 35–45 hours per week, with work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as company needs require.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, climb, and crouch frequently.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain, and be comfortable with exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving standards are required if occasional company-business driving is needed.
• Drug screen and background check required per state guidelines.

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
• Restaurant management experience is ideal; the posting notes that related skill sets are easily transferable.

• Occasionally drive for company business using a company, rental, or personal vehicle, if required.
