About The Position
The Assistant Manager oversees all aspects of running a retail and food location. The role includes hiring, training, and scheduling 20–60 coworkers; ordering and inventory control; managing P&Ls; food safety; and cleaning and stocking the store. The manager must be willing to work in the kitchen and help maintain a clean, inviting store. Assistant Managers are typically scheduled for 45 hours across a five-day workweek and receive time and a half for additional hours worked over 40 in a week. The position is based at locations in North Liberty, Iowa City, or Tiffin, Iowa, and has a variable shift.
