About The Position

Family Pathways Thrift Stores is hiring an Assistant Manager in Forest Lake, Minnesota. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager with successful day-to-day thrift store operations and works with Sales Associates and volunteers to turn community donations of gently used clothing and household goods into funding for Family Pathways’ social programs. The role includes guiding, training, and directing employees and volunteers, as well as hands-on participation in all aspects of store operations. Work may take place at the front of the store, assisting customers and merchandising, or in the back, collecting, sorting, and pricing donated goods. Family Pathways’ services include healthy food access, domestic and sexual violence prevention and victim services, supervised visitation, and services for older adults and caregivers. The position is full-time, with a starting wage of $16.50 per hour and non-exempt status. Store operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The schedule includes rotating weekend shifts and shorter holiday hours.

Responsibilities
