About The Position

Dominium is seeking an Assistant Manager for Pinewood, a 240-unit apartment community in Houston, Texas. The Assistant Manager supports the Community Manager with the property’s daily operations. The role focuses on maintaining occupancy and financial performance, building positive resident and community relationships, and assisting with site personnel. The position may require on-call duties and occasional evening or weekend work.

Requirements

• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of previous property management experience.
• Section 8, Section 42, and/or market-rate experience.
• Yardi software experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals.
• Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist the Community Manager in training, directing, motivating, and assisting site personnel.
• Establish positive relationships within the community.
• Be on-call as scheduled by management.
