The work involves standing and walking for much of the shift, handling supplies and products, and may involve lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, bending, reaching, crouching, climbing stairs or ladders, and driving. The environment may include temperature extremes, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, and adverse weather during outside tasks or deliveries.
