About The Position
The Assistant Manager leads delivery drivers and customer service representatives to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly. The role maintains staffing levels according to business needs, supports store opening and closing procedures, resolves customer disputes, and helps ensure delivery operations meet Domino’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery drivers and customer service representatives to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
- Maintain staffing levels that reflect business needs throughout the day.
- When closing, make end-of-night bank deposits and complete a nightly product inventory count.
- When opening, ensure the store is properly set up and ready to receive orders at opening time.
- Foster and project a sense of urgency with every order.
- Resolve disputes and work to turn unhappy customers into returning customers.
- Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shifts.
- Ensure delivery vehicles pass mechanical and visual inspections.
- Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize customer service while meeting Domino’s on-time delivery standards.
- Uphold Domino’s grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
