About The Position

North Star Pizza is an expanding franchise with 27 locations and opportunities for professional advancement. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager with daily operations, staff leadership, customer service, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and store performance at the 221 Mineral Springs Rd location in Owatonna. Starting wage is $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or customer service.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals.
Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards.

Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards.

Participate in loss prevention efforts and maintain store security.
Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
Handle cash management and banking procedures.
