About The Position
The Assistant Manager leads delivery drivers and customer service representatives (CSRs) to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly. The role helps maintain staffing levels that meet business needs throughout the day and supports store opening and closing operations. It also focuses on customer service, delivery operations, store standards, and promoting products and offers.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of delivery drivers and CSRs to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
- Maintain staffing levels that match business needs throughout the day.
- When closing, make end-of-night bank deposits and complete a nightly product inventory count.
- When opening, ensure the store is properly set up and ready to receive orders at opening time.
- Foster a sense of urgency with every order.
- Resolve disputes and work to turn unhappy customers into returning customers.
- Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shifts.
- Ensure delivery vehicles pass mechanical and visual inspections.
- Help route delivery drivers to maximize customer service while meeting Domino’s standards for on-time deliveries.
- Uphold Domino’s grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
