About The Position

HIT, Inc. is seeking a full-time Assistant Day Supports Manager for its Day Program team. The role works closely with the Day Supports Manager to support smooth operations and provide quality services in the Day Supports setting. The Assistant Manager provides hands-on supervision and guidance to Direct Support Professionals, delivers staff training, and monitors programs to help ensure each individual receives quality support. HIT offers on-the-job training and opportunities to learn and advance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Proficient observation skills and the ability to communicate observations accurately, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer operation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of DD-related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Day Supports Manager to ensure smooth operations in the Day Supports setting.
• Provide hands-on supervision and guidance to Direct Support Professionals.
• Deliver staff training.
• Monitor programs to ensure individuals receive quality support.
