About The Position
The assistant to the Turfgrass Research Center manager supports the supervisor in maintaining research equipment and facility infrastructure, ensuring safety compliance, and managing field research plots. The assistant also helps train personnel, coordinate land and facility use, maintain inventory records, and assist with field demonstrations and data collection. The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check. The department is unable to support visa sponsorship for this position.
Requirements
- Experience with equipment operation and maintenance.
- Current valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.

- Background in turf management, landscaping, agronomy, or a related field.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and certifications.

- Ability to train and supervise personnel.
