About The Position

Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager, the Asst. Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of restaurant outlet staff, according to established standards. This includes achieving maximum customer service and satisfaction while achieving financial goals.

Requirements

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred with two (2) to four (4) years of restaurant supervisory experience is required or a combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate and deliver a high level of service to our internal and external guests.
  • Ability to lead a team and oversee the day-to-day activities of the restaurant.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure and handle situations in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to analyze Food and Beverage data.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Be team-oriented and enjoy working with and assisting people.
  • Able to exercise judgment on an independent basis.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary experience in a casino, large hotel or resort preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with management and support staff on daily needs, requirements, and expectations.
  • May assist in scheduling, planning, hiring, timing and supervision of details for the restaurant outlet, as well as coordinating dining room functions and monitoring costs.
  • Ensures accurate record keeping prepares reviews, and analyzes reports.
  • Handles guest issues and promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel and enforces Food & Beverage policies and procedures.
  • Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants.
  • Promotes positive guest/employee relations.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse team of individuals.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
