About The Position

Farmington Country Club’s Assistant Manager Program is a three-year opportunity for a hospitality management graduate pursuing a career in club management. The program combines department-specific activities and projects with individualized training and education to prepare participants for club management careers. Participants rotate through food and beverage and clubhouse operations, including a la carte restaurants, banquets and catering, and front-office overnight guest-room operations. The program includes progressive management responsibilities, ongoing professional development, one-on-one mentoring from experienced Club managers, and participation in management meetings, training programs, and CMAA education sessions. Participants also take part in the Club’s Performance Management Program and Assistant Manager in Development Program. A bonus is provided upon completion of the program.

Requirements

Degree in Hospitality Management.
Commitment to the three-year Assistant Manager in Development Program.

Responsibilities

Complete rotational placements in food and beverage and clubhouse operations, including a la carte restaurants, banquets and catering, and front-office overnight guest-room operations.
Participate in department-specific activities and projects and an individualized training and education curriculum.
Take on progressive management responsibilities.
Participate in the Club’s Performance Management Program, including conversations with managers about goals, performance strengths, accomplishments, and development areas.
Participate in the Assistant Manager in Development Program, managers meetings, training programs, and CMAA education sessions.
