About The Position

The Assistant Manager, Nursing (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in supervising and coordinating nursing services within a designated patient care area. The role plans, provides, supervises, and documents professional nursing care using the nursing process, in accordance with provider orders and established policies and procedures. The ANM helps promote quality outcomes, staff development, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence in patient- and family-centered care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program or higher.
• Current unrestricted RN license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two to three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Specialty experience may be required based on the unit or department, such as operating room, ICU, or emergency department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or CPI may be required based on unit specialty.
• A BSN is required in Magnet-designated facilities.
