About The Position

This position functions as a collaborative and participative member of an interdisciplinary team, consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the Interventional platform at Issaquah Hospital and Swedish Medical Center. All functions are performed under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse throughout Perioperative and Interventional Services. The role is with Swedish Issaquah and supports patient-focused, whole-person care.

Requirements

• Upon hire, a Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License is required.
• Upon hire, National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience must include one of the following: 6 months of non-acute clinical care experience or 1 year of skilled nursing experience.
• The experience requirement may be waived for applicants with demonstrated customer service experience in healthcare or another related industry and completion of an acute care NAC course.
• The experience requirement may be waived for students currently enrolled and in good standing in a traditional Registered Nursing program approved by the Nursing Quality Assurance Commission. At least one academic term (quarter or semester) including clinical patient care experience must be satisfactorily completed.
