About The Position

MedLife Primary & Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as an Assistant Manager & Trainer for Clinical Team Members. If you have a passion for patient care, leadership, and mentorship, we want to hear from you! This role involves managing, training, and mentoring existing and newly hired Medical Assistants, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols, and assisting with patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting, leadership experience, and a passion for developing staff.

Requirements

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager/Medical Assistant Trainer (Urgent Care or Primary Care experience a plus!)
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Athena experience a Plus!
• Passion for training and developing staff

Responsibilities

• Manage, Train and mentor existing & newly hired Medical Assistants
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and procedures
• Assist with patient care, including vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, and more
