A spectacular game reserve is looking for an ASSISTANT LODGE MANAGER to join their team. This private, conservation-driven safari destination is known for its luxury lodge operations, exceptional guest experiences, and strong commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainability. They are looking for a highly organised, service-focused leader with strong operational oversight skills, the ability to manage diverse teams, and a calm, hands-on approach to delivering seamless five-star hospitality in a remote bush environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in lodge or hospitality management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both guests and staff.
• A service-oriented mindset with a consistent focus on delivering high standards and guest satisfaction.
• Good organisational ability, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a structured way.
• Ability to work in a remote, fast-paced environment with flexible hours and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day lodge operations to ensure smooth and efficient running of all departments.
• Assist in supervising staff, helping to maintain a positive, professional, and service-driven team environment.
• Help coordinate guest services, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience from arrival to departure.
• Monitor standards across housekeeping, food and beverage, and front-of-house areas to maintain overall presentation and service quality.
• Assist with general administrative tasks, reporting, and operational coordination as required by senior management.
