The purpose of this position is to co-manage the leasing strategy with the Leasing Manager (“LM”) to ensure revenue is maximized at company-owned shopping centers. The Assistant Leasing Manager (“ALM”) is expected to produce a positive and direct influence on the overall value of the Publix Real Estate portfolio by directly impacting Net Operating Income (“NOI”) through tenant retention and increased rental rates. With an average of 40 company-owned shopping centers per territory, the ALM analyzes trade area data to project market rents for existing tenant lease renewals, current vacancies relating to expansion leases and pending acquisitions. On average, each ALM fully negotiates and executes approximately 72 renewals per year, not including additional renewal opportunities gained when Publix acquires shopping centers throughout the year.
