About The Position

Village Green Day School is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support its infant classroom. The role assists with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during activities, meals, and naptime to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The Assistant Teacher helps lead learning activities that promote children’s development, monitors their progress, and contributes to a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of prior experience working in a certified child development center; one year is preferred.
Prior experience with the assigned age group.
Meet specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience working in a certified child development center is preferred.
