The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for maintaining a pristine level of cleanliness throughout suites and property, monitoring preventative maintenance, and creating a highly motivated and customer-oriented team that exceeds high-end customer service. This role also assists in managing and controlling housekeeping labor costs, overseeing the in-house laundry, purchasing, inventory, and labor controls. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager inspects guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards, runs room reports, verifies room status, and ensures all rooms are available for sale and deficiencies are amended. They partner with management to coordinate efforts across departments, manage guest requests, and organize lost and found items. Additionally, this role involves managing, hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and coaching housekeeping employees, while ensuring adherence to safety and security policies.
