About The Position

Olympia Fields Country Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join their team in maintaining their prestigious golf courses. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for all aspects of general golf course maintenance, including fertilizer and pesticide calibration and application, irrigation repair and installation, drainage repair and installation, pest scouting and monitoring, and supervision of staff. The Club operates two championship golf courses, the North Course and the South Course. The South Course underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2021. The Assistant Superintendent will help maintain and develop the South Course and play a key role in the comprehensive restoration of the North Course. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with both the long-term management of a recently renovated golf course and the construction, grow-in, and establishment of a major championship restoration project.

Requirements

Minimum of a two-year degree from an accredited turf school
Three to four years of golf course experience
Pass pesticide test within 30 days
