About The Position

The intercollegiate athletics program is an integral part of the university striving to achieve the same standards of excellence in athletics that exist within academic programs. The program is concerned with the physical and mental welfare of the student and strives to ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to succeed academically and obtain a degree. Sport programs are a vital function of the University at large. This position is responsible for assisting in the successful planning, direction and administration of all aspects of the University's NCAA Division I Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Combination of Division I collegiate Golf coaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, directing, and advancing a successful Division I Golf programs.
  • Assist in the planning and conducting of practice and training sessions.
  • Assist in development of student-athletes
  • Lead and motivate student-athletes to maximize their potential.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, adherence, and commitment to all NCAA, Conference, State, and Institutional rules and regulations
  • Assist with the cultivation of a team culture that ensures appropriate and acceptable student behavior.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
