About The Position

Jiffy Lube, operated by Premium Velocity Auto (PVA), is hiring an Assistant General Manager to support daily store operations, improve sales results, and lead a team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role supports the General Manager and helps maintain strong store performance and a positive team culture. The Assistant General Manager may take ownership of operations when the General Manager is away. The position involves leading by example while performing lube services, maintaining a clean and safe store, and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety requirements. The posting describes a fast-paced role in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
At least 1 year of retail management experience, including automotive, fast food, or retail experience.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and percentages.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to confidently use computers and internet tools and complete required forms.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, and climb.
Comfort working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments.
Authorization to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

Open and close the store and maintain a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment.
Oversee cash handling and point-of-sale procedures.
Help manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
Lead by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services.
Create a positive guest experience and resolve concerns professionally.
Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
Take ownership of operations when the General Manager is away.
Support the General Manager, store performance, and sales results.
