About The Position

Row 34 is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for its Burlington location. This hands-on leadership role focuses on service operations, team development, and hospitality. The Assistant General Manager partners closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations and support an exceptional guest experience. The role has direct ownership of server operations, including scheduling, interviewing, hiring, training, and maintaining service standards. The AGM is expected to lead on the floor during service by coaching the team, troubleshooting issues, and setting the tone, while also supporting the behind-the-scenes work needed to run the restaurant effectively.

Requirements

At least 3 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
Strong understanding of bar operations, inventory management, and cost controls.
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Strong floor presence and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Clear communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Lead from the floor in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Set and uphold standards for warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
Coach, develop, and support front-of-house managers and hourly team members.
Partner with the General Manager on daily operations, staffing, and overall performance.
Own server operations, including scheduling, interviewing, hiring, training, and maintaining service standards.
Ensure consistency in beverage quality, execution, and the guest experience at the bar.
Help build a positive, team-first culture across front- and back-of-house teams.
Maintain a clean, safe, and fully compliant restaurant environment.
Step in where needed to keep service running smoothly.
