About The Position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient team performance, and adherence to brand standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer systems and hotel software (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all day-to-day hotel operations
  • Supervise and support front desk and hotel staff
  • Provide excellent guest service and handle guest relations, concerns, and escalations
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Perform administrative duties including reporting, inventory, and documentation
  • Cover shifts as needed, including front desk and operational roles
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
