About The Position
Chebeague Island Inn, a 21-room oceanfront boutique hotel and part of Prentice Hospitality Group, is seeking a seasonal Assistant General Manager to help lead daily operations. This role functions primarily as the General Manager of our restaurant, event, and food & beverage program, while also providing supplemental leadership across Inn operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, develops strong teams, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and drives financial performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of management experience in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Experience managing labor, budgets, and P&L performance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and guest service skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Lead all restaurant and food & beverage operations as the acting GM of the restaurant.
- Manage daily Inn operations alongside the General Manager.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
- Drive guest satisfaction and uphold service standards.
- Manage labor, costs, inventory, and profitability.
- Ensure operational excellence, cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Foster a positive, accountable, hospitality-driven culture.
