About The Position

Alro Steel is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join its team in Indianapolis, Indiana. Requirements

At least one year of previous management or direct-report experience.
At least two years of previous metals sales experience.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and motivate others.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Previous operations experience is strongly preferred.
Preferably a minimum of two years of college coursework.
Personnel management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager with managing sales and operations personnel.
Develop long-term customer relationships on behalf of the Company.
Manage warehouse and processing operations flow.
Manage the organization and coordination of inventory, equipment, and facilities.
Construct and manage sales strategy and pricing systems.
Manage location expenses.
Oversee quality and safety systems at the location.
Ensure compliance with corporate policy.
