About The Position

LV Petroleum is hiring a hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead a high-energy Sbarro restaurant within a travel center. The role partners closely with the General Manager to support daily restaurant operations, deliver positive guest experiences, maintain food quality, and keep the restaurant clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and team members. The Assistant General Manager also helps lead and develop team members and supports the restaurant’s financial performance, scheduling, and local marketing.

Requirements

Two to three years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of cost control, scheduling, and daily operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Partner with the General Manager to support daily restaurant operations.
Ensure food quality standards are met and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Help lead, train, and develop team members; support recruiting and retention.
Delegate tasks, manage workflows, and provide ongoing feedback to build a strong team.
Maintain high service standards, resolve guest concerns professionally, and lead by example.
Help manage inventory and control costs.
Assist with scheduling and payroll.
Align operations with sales and budget goals.
Assist with local marketing efforts and community engagement.
