The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This role focuses on ensuring guest satisfaction through spotless cleanliness, product consistency and quality, and strong teamwork. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for daily supervision of hotel operations, including guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards and testing of mechanical equipment. They will also provide training to new team members, manage shifts, oversee check-in/check-out processes, and foster a positive culture for both team members and guests. This role involves inventory management, onboarding support, time clock oversight, auditing, reporting, managing purchase orders and invoices, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to brand standards, maintaining safety and fire inspections, escalating opportunities, overseeing preventative maintenance, and ensuring adherence to work schedules. The Assistant General Manager is also expected to cover open department head positions when necessary.
