About The Position

Northland Investments is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager for a KFC restaurant. This is an hourly position scheduled for 40 hours per week. The Assistant Manager works under the General Manager and is responsible for directing the restaurant’s daily operations and ensuring compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include food preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retaining team members, and financial accountability. The role ensures that customers receive high-quality products and services and includes other duties as required or assigned. The company provides tools and on-the-job training, and describes opportunities for career advancement and growth.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Passion for leading and developing people and driving results.
• Basic food safety knowledge.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle hands-on day-to-day restaurant activities.
• Monitor food, guest, and employee safety.
• Monitor food and labor controls.
• Run shifts and work through shift leads.
• Handle cash.
• Support the General Manager in maintaining current initiatives and goals.
• Perform administrative responsibilities.
• Interview, hire, and train employees.
• Perform general maintenance.
• Direct daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Oversee produce preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention, and financial accountability.
• Ensure high-quality products and services are delivered to customers.
• Work 40 hours per week and adjust the schedule based on current store needs.
