About The Position

KBP Foods is hiring an Assistant General Manager for a KFC restaurant. The role helps lead restaurant employees, operations, and the guest experience while developing leadership skills and preparing for potential General Manager and above-store opportunities. The Assistant General Manager supports daily restaurant performance and profitability, maintains brand standards, and helps ensure shifts run smoothly.

Requirements

At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment.

Nice To Haves

Quick-service restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, schedule, and coach the team to build a positive, high-performing restaurant.
Deliver a great guest experience and resolve issues quickly.
Help oversee daily operations, including inventory, cash handling, and company policy compliance.
Maintain brand standards for food quality, preparation, safety, and cleanliness.
Manage labor and food costs with a focus on restaurant performance and profitability.
Anticipate challenges, solve problems, and help keep every shift running smoothly.
