About The Position
The Assistant General Manager, Dining provides primary support to ensure ideal workflow and exceptional service. This role supports dining operations by overseeing work standards and procedures, safety, sanitation, maintenance, customer and client satisfaction, cost-effective management, and the professional development of associates. The position is with Unidine, a member of Compass Group USA, and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required, or equivalent and relevant experience.
- At least 3–5 years of experience.
- Superior quantitative, oral and written communication, problem-solving, and strategizing skills.
- Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in the business.
- Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
- Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient computer skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Establish and review standards and work procedures for all staff in accordance with facility policies and practices.
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while maintaining excellent relationships with the client and customers.
- Assist in ensuring client and customer satisfaction and efficient, cost-effective management.
- Promote the professional growth and development of associates.
- Coordinate the tasks of subordinate supervisory and management team members through regular communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
