About The Position

Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to oversee the food program and help serve the Cedar Falls community. The role includes preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example of excellent customer service, and helping the team meet daily goals. The Assistant Food Manager also assists with merchandising and ensures high-quality customer service each day.

Requirements

• Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift.
• Strong people skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve problems and shift priorities quickly.
• Desire to help others.
• At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for 8–10 hours per day.
