About The Position
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Food Service Director to assist and support the Food Service Director at our Nursing Home Facility in Vestal, NY. Our ideal Assistant Food Service Director candidate will have experience in culinary, sanitation, and administrative tasks. Experienced managing a food service team along with exceptional client relations and customer satisfaction skills.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Nursing Home, Hospital, or Healthcare Required.
- High schoold diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Previous management or supervisory experience a Required!
Nice To Haves
- Meal Tracker experience a PLUS.
- ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired!
Responsibilities
- Assist and support the Food Service Director with daily operations.
- Oversee inventory and ordering for the department.
- Knowledge of local, State, Federal regulations, and survey inspection process.
- Assist in resident meal tickets.
- Oversee the overall sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen, storage and dining areas, and equipment.
- Performs other job-related duties.
