Assist in training, leading, motivating, coaching F&B host to ensure company and department standards are met; actively participate and contribute in promotional actives; effectively schedule hosts and monitor inventory to control department costs; provide recommendations for improvements and solutions to generate revenue and maximize profits; certify quality dining experience through effective interactions with guests; be knowledgeable about food and beverage products; appropriately communicate and cultivate effective relationships with hosts and leadership to ensure operational excellence; regularly attend operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments; create and nurture a Great Place to Work for All.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in line supervisory experience in Food & Beverage required
  • Must possess working knowledge of food & beverage operations
  • Must have knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • Must be able to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding environment
  • Must be able to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations and guests
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in the English language
  • Must possess valid driver’s License
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts

  • Experience in a luxury environment
  • Knowledge of Honolulu and surrounding areas desired
