About The Position

River Place Country Club is seeking a motivated and experienced food and beverage professional to work closely with the Food and Beverage Director to oversee and enhance the club’s dining services. The role supports daily operations, staff supervision and development, menu and service quality, member and guest satisfaction, events, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to manage daily dining operations and support efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for the food and beverage department.
• Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Work with the culinary team on menu development and high-quality, innovative offerings.
• Monitor food presentation, portion control, and the overall dining experience.
• Promote a customer-focused culture and exceptional service for members and guests.
• Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with planning and executing special events, banquets, and private functions.
• Coordinate with the culinary team and other departments to execute events successfully.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring to meet financial targets.
• Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food and beverage licensing requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate best practices into club operations.
