About The Position

River Place Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join its team as Assistant Food and Beverage Director. The role works closely with the Food and Beverage Director to oversee and enhance the club’s dining services and provide an exceptional experience for members and guests.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to manage daily dining-facility operations, efficient service, and guest satisfaction.
Help develop and implement standard operating procedures for the food and beverage department.
Supervise, support, guide, and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Work with Human Resources on recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development and high-quality, innovative offerings.
Monitor food presentation, portion control, and the overall dining experience.
Promote a customer-focused culture and exceptional service for members and guests.
Address customer feedback and promptly resolve issues.
Help plan and execute special events, banquets, and private functions.
Coordinate event execution with the culinary team and other departments.
Assist with budget preparation and monitoring to meet financial targets.
Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food and beverage licensing requirements.
Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate best practices into club operations.
