About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Assistant Field Services Manager for its New Braunfels, Texas team. The role supervises and performs environmental field service projects, supports project scoping and quoting, manages project purchase orders, and helps ensure the profitability and quality of assigned work. The position reports to the Field Services Manager and works with operations and field crews across the region. The role includes oversight and participation in confined-space entries and rescue, spill response, onsite UST/AST/OWS cleanings, sample collection and monitoring, and operation of commercial motor vehicles. It requires attention to jobsite and crew safety, accurate project and regulatory paperwork, professional service delivery, and compliance with applicable regulations. The position may include rotating emergency-response and on-call responsibilities, with the ability to report to a designated office within one hour during emergency-response rotating shifts. It frequently involves handling hazardous chemicals and biological waste and using personal protective equipment, and is designated safety-sensitive.

Requirements

Three to five years of experience overseeing environmental jobsites and projects.
40-hour OSHA certificate.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong commitment to excellence and high attention to detail.
Comply with DOT, RCRA, and other applicable regulations.
Follow departmental and company policies and procedures.
Remain positive, level-headed, and team-oriented.
Be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
Have reliable transportation.
Consent to motor vehicle record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening, including THC; participate in random drug screening after employment, including THC.
Lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
Work overtime on a regular basis.
Work flexible hours within the Monday-through-Friday work week.
Report to a designated office within one hour during emergency-response rotating shifts.
Handle hazardous chemicals and biological waste and put on and take off personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

Prior relevant industry experience.
Active HAZWOPER 24-hour or 40-hour certification.
Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
A CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervise and perform environmental field service projects.
Assist with scoping and quoting new projects.
Create and manage purchase orders for projects.
Oversee and participate in confined-space entries and rescue.
Use knowledge of vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and small equipment such as compressors, pumps, and generators.
Respond to spills and operate within an Incident Command System (ICS) structure.
Oversee and participate in onsite UST/AST/OWS cleanings.
Apply knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist regional Operations as requested by supervisors.
Participate on emergency-response teams, including a rotating 24-hour team; rotating on-call responsibilities are optional.
Oversee the safety of field crews, technicians, and jobsites.
Accurately complete job-specific and regulatory paperwork.
Manage the profitability of job assignments.
Oversee crew professionalism and delivery of high-quality service.
Conduct sample collection and monitoring.
Operate a commercial motor vehicle.
Assist the Field Services Manager as requested.
