About The Position

The Assistant Emergency Services Supervisor oversees the safety and security of the Highland Springs community. The role supports safe, smooth operations by enforcing regulations, conducting patrols, responding to calls, maintaining reports, screening visitors and vendors, and helping lead and support the team. The position is based at Highland Springs, a continuing care retirement community in North Dallas, Texas. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
At least one year of experience in public safety supervision (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform regular property patrols and staff the gatehouse.
Respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
Enforce parking and traffic regulations.
Ensure completion of daily shift reports and incident reports covering medical responses, theft, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency responses, and violations of rules and regulations.
Screen visitors, vendors, and others at the gatehouse.
Assist with training, coaching, and counseling employees.
Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.
Monitor the team throughout the day and reinforce safety practices.
