About The Position

Molson Coors Canada is currently looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Six Pints marketing team and support the Trou du Diable brand. Reporting to the Brand Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving, developing, and implementing marketing programs, ensuring both strategic design and execution through a 360° brand management approach. This role is suitable for an ambitious individual who wants to push themselves, step out of their comfort zone, and is eager to learn and develop their skills. The position can be based in Shawinigan or Montreal (frequent travel to Shawinigan is required if based in Montreal).

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of brand marketing experience
  • University degree an asset – preferably with a specialization in marketing or business administration or further professional development in marketing
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficiency in French, both oral and written
  • Strong interest in craft beer or alcoholic beverages
  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Creative mindset, capable of proposing original and innovative ideas
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the brewing team to define product styles and names, work with the legal team on regulatory and intellectual property aspects, and collaborate with the studio for packaging development.
  • Manage event activation strategy and campaign integration, including media, public relations, and briefs.
  • Execute the event calendar, manage external agencies, budgets, and planning.
  • Ensure management of active tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, consistent, and aligned with the brand and its strategy, while respecting brand guidelines. Scope includes POS (retail and on-premise), sales sheets, samples, toolkits, photography, online coordination, and coordination with Brand Homes teams.
  • Actively manage the brand's marketing budget, ensuring rigorous tracking of expenses and forecasts to guarantee optimal use of funds and reallocation as needed.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, Brand Homes, and finance teams.
  • Work with other teams within Six Pints and Molson Coors Canada to deliver brand plans as needed and attend quarterly meetings.

  • Coordinate all internal and external brand communications and activities to ensure integrated and consistent execution with messages to consumers and customers.
  • Collaborate on digital initiatives (social media, website, CRM, creative content) in line with brand, Brand Homes, and direct-to-consumer sales objectives.
  • Manage social media on a daily basis.
  • Work with sales teams to bring our brands to life with customers in retail and on-premise sales channels.
