About The Position
The District 7 (Hancock County and Washington County) District Attorney’s Office is seeking a full-time Assistant District Attorney. The Assistant District Attorney will be primarily responsible for criminal prosecutions in the Unified Criminal Court in Washington County as well as appellate cases before the Law Court.
Requirements
- Members of the Maine Bar and in good standing
- Reside in Hancock or Washington Counties
- Strong desire for a career in litigation
- High ethical standards
- Sound judgment
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Good organizational/time management skills

Responsibilities
- Criminal prosecutions in the Unified Criminal Court in Washington County
