About The Position

The Assistant Director supports the School Director and school operations, championing Celebree School’s mission, vision, and values with a focus on talent, brand, and operations. The role helps maintain a safe, compliant, well-organized school environment and supports childcare operations, family engagement, and company initiatives. It may include classroom coverage as a substitute teacher and oversight of the School-Age Program, including driving a school bus or van for school transportation and field trips as needed. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Requirements

An Associate's degree is preferred.
Assistant Director qualification is strongly preferred.
Preschool Lead Teacher, Infant Toddler, and School Age certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build a school community that attracts new families and team members by fostering positive relationships.
Provide classroom coverage as needed, serving as a substitute teacher when teaching staff are absent, on break, attending training, or when additional classroom support is required.
Oversee the School-Age Program, including supervising children, supporting daily activities, maintaining safety and ratios, and driving the school bus or van for school pick-up, drop-off, and field trips as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as Celebree standards, policies, and procedures.
Support the Director and Assistant Director in maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-organized school environment, including safety procedures, supervision, emergency preparedness, and daily operational needs.
Manage childcare operations, including scheduling and documentation, to ensure smooth operations and accurate record-keeping.
Ensure exceptional customer service, including thorough and friendly tours, a welcoming environment, and availability for parent meetings and phone calls.
Support and lead new company initiatives.
