About The Position

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an Assistant Director of Residential Services to lead and manage multiple residential programs that provide care to individuals with disabilities and medical needs in Ocean County. This role involves supervising Residence Managers and their staff, collaborating with nursing personnel, overseeing daily residential operations, assisting with Individual Service Plan development, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. The Arc of Ocean County has been dedicated for over 60 years to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with staff, families, guardians, funding sources, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with no more than five points
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in developmental disabilities
• Proven success managing residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a related field
