Assistant Director of Resident Care
About The Position
We are seeking a customer service–driven, team-oriented leader to join our Assisted Living team as an Assistant Director of Resident Care. Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), active and in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 1–2 years of full-time clinical experience in an Assisted Living setting

- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the nursing department to ensure quality resident care
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Assist with staffing needs, including hiring, scheduling, supervision, and performance management
- Train, coach, and develop team members to promote growth and high performance
- Foster a culture of customer service, safety, and teamwork
- Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality assurance and infection control programs
- Monitor documentation, medication administration, and treatment plans for accuracy and compliance
- Assist in developing and updating individualized care plans
- Respond to resident and family concerns, ensuring timely resolution
- Participate in surveys, inspections, and interdisciplinary meetings
- Provide direct resident care as needed
