About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) | RN to support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents. This role involves partnering with the Director of Nursing (DON) for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the DON, the ADON assumes responsibility for clinical operations.

Requirements

Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role

Responsibilities

Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents.
Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
