About The Position

Meadow Brook Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City, Utah, is hiring a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing to help provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing with clinical systems, staffing and team leadership, nursing programs and activities, and clinical documentation. The role also performs additional functions as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Minimum associate degree.
• RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum two years of skilled nursing facility nursing experience.
• Ability to read and write legibly and understandably.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Genuine love and concern for the geriatric population.
• MDS experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of successful nursing leadership experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with active management of clinical systems.
• Assist with nursing staff scheduling, interviewing, and hiring or firing.
• Build teams and morale, and motivate the clinical team to provide excellent patient care.
• Assist with developing and maintaining nursing programs and activities.
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charts, and related documentation.
• Perform additional functions as directed by the Director of Nursing.
