About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to assist with managing the Nursing Education Department. The role supports student retention and the institution’s aims and mission while maintaining high standards of quality, ethics, and integrity. The Assistant Director helps ensure school operations comply with government requirements, accreditation standards, and Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• RN license in the state of Connecticut.
• At least 3 years of experience in nursing.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation.
• Mentor faculty members and provide support and direction in educational development.
• Assist faculty with instructional delivery methods that address students’ differing learning styles.
• Ensure instructors are present and make adequate provisions for classes affected by faculty absences.
• Evaluate and update the Faculty Education Plan (FEP) for all nursing faculty.
• Conduct classroom observations and surveys, and review results with faculty, students, and the Director of Nursing - PN, as appropriate.
• Manage student progress from orientation to graduation.
• Ensure satisfactory academic progress as it relates to student progression.
• Help ensure school operations comply with government, accreditation, and Company policies and procedures.
