About The Position

Lincoln Tech is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing to assist with managing the Nursing Education Department. The role supports student retention and the institution’s aims and mission by maintaining high standards of quality, ethics, and integrity. The Assistant Director helps ensure school operations comply with applicable government and accreditation requirements, as well as Company policies and procedures.

The position supports nursing faculty and students from orientation through graduation, including faculty recruitment and development, instructional delivery, classroom evaluation, and student academic progress. The role is full-time and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the criteria and terms of Lincoln Tech’s Employee Sign-on Bonus Agreement. Staffing agency candidates are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of nursing education experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), education track.

Responsibilities

• Assist with faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation.
• Mentor faculty members and provide support and direction in educational development.
• Assist faculty with instructional delivery methods that address students’ differing learning styles.
• Ensure instructors are present and that adequate provisions are made for classes affected by faculty absences.
• Evaluate and update the Faculty Education Plan (FEP) for all nursing faculty.
• Conduct classroom observations and surveys, and review results with faculty, students, and the Director of Nursing - PN, as appropriate.
• Manage student progress from orientation to graduation.
• Ensure satisfactory academic progress as it relates to student progression.
• Help ensure school operations comply with government and accreditation requirements and Company policies and procedures.
