About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing manages administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department. The role assists the Director of Nursing with the overall operation of the department in accordance with company policies, nursing practice standards, and government regulations, with the goal of maintaining quality care. The Assistant Director of Nursing delegates the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability needed by Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors to perform their assigned duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, has strong knowledge of policies and government regulations, and is passionate about supporting and training stakeholders to provide excellent resident care. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in good standing with a required current state license.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Current and active CPR certification.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of management or supervisory experience.
